this revenue will also recover our development and ongoing
maintenance and communication to provide you with first
class service and support

What Do I
Need to Do? |

You do Not
need to do much at all! Naturally the more local news you
put on your blog, the better and more successful it will be.
The more locals you invite to view and make comment the more
successful it will be. The local content is up to you. We
will endeavor to assist you in a written guide and telephone
support for your blog.
No special skills are required, however your will need an
interest in being part of the community you are going to
represent on your local blog. Just average computer skills.
A simple manual is provided in hard copy for you,
furthermore you will be able to downloaded additional copies
from our internet site if required. We will always support
you by phone, and assist you if you have difficulties.
Best of all once up and running all you will need to do
is:
1. Answer email post requests, by approving with a
tick.
2. Place posts or news items on your blog.
3. Maybe create an extra category or two.
4. Put listings on your site.
Your Local Blog could replace your newsletter or more so
your newsletter should support your Blog and drive your
clients to it.

Will we always support you?
A. Yes, we will always offer support by phone,
newsletter, providing written instructions and
marketing assistance. After all, this license is
really a partnership. We want to make it work for
you, otherwise the service is not worth paying for.

Why is it so cheap compared to other services?
A. A web site of similar design and interaction
features could cost you thousands of dollars...
Really the fee you pay is for support, assistance
and marketing on the web and use of the domain name,
and a static internet address to help the search
engines list your site.
Q. Who else is using blogs?
A. Real Estate Blogs are taking off everywhere,
especially in the USA, except we have included the
local community as well, as real estate is local,
and so are you. Really it could be your online
newsletter, but interactive.
Q. Why are there advertisers on the site?
A. Advertising is kept to a minimum, but as the
development costs are ongoing advertising ensures us
that we have the funds to enhance and improve the
blogs, and recover development costs, as each blog
is set up separately and can take some 3 to 5 hours
each, plus IP addresses, and server maintenance and
space.
Q. Why is it not free?
A. Blogs need to be hosted, backed up and
maintained, on the servers; and as your blog is
supported by a professional team of webmasters
experienced with real estate web sites, you will be
given the backup that you need, to run a successful,
search engine submitted blog.
To provide ongoing services and advice, a fee is
necessary, however we have built in rebates* to

Q. What marketing support is included?
A. Your localsblog is listed on blog directories by
us, and also submitted to search engines on your
behalf, plus 1000 leaflets for you to letterbox
drop, will be sent to you to use in your
marketing... Distributing these flyers around your
local area, will create instant recognition, traffic
and involvement from your community/neighbourhood.
We will be promoting www.localsblog.com.au through
Google Adwords and on the search engines as well...
Google has it’s very own Blog Search, that’s how
popular blogs truly are.
www.localsblog.com.au contains a list of all
localsblogs across Australia, it also list
opportunities we have identified.
Q. How long is my agreement?
A. You will need 12 months to really pump up your
real estate blog, so we would require a 12 month
agreement, with automatic renewal on a monthly
basis. Naturally a new agreement will ensure pricing
control (just like realestate.com.au or
domain.com.au do).
Q. When will I need to make payment?
A. Naturally payment is required before building
commences as each blog is “localised” for you.
Payment is Quarterly in advance, by direct debit or
credit card or cheque. This authorization is
required upon us accepting the order. |
